Islamabad United continued its winning streak as it secured sixth consecutive victory and seventh as whole after outplaying Quetta Gladiators in 28th Match of Pakistan Super League at Sharjah Cricket Stadium here on Thursday.

United bowlers significantly restricted Gladiators to 147 for 7 in 20-over contest as Faheem Ashraf grabbed three wickets for19 runs in his four-over spell to become the highest wicket-taker bowler of the tournament so far.
Quetta’s Skipper Sarfraz decided to bat first after winning the toss and was the only batsman who reached 43 runs, as no other players could contributed any big share to raise team’s total except Umar Amin who scored 28.
Chasing an easy target of 148, United completed their win against four wickets in 11.2 overs as in-form batsman Duminy smashed 54off 47 balls to guide team to win the contest.
Gladiators and United are two top teams of the PSL and have qualified for play-off competition. United started slowly, but have quickly found their rhythm and fluency.
Quetta had made one change as Rameez Raja was left out for Umar Amin.
Islamabad United were unchanged.
