Lindsay Lohan wears hijab at London Fashion show
Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan made an appearance at the London Modest fashion show wearing a black hijab recently.
In a statement to BBC Minute, she said “Fashion doesn’t always have to be so naked and can be adventurous and still beautiful with a strong group of women behind it.”
Lohan has a history of wearing hijab publicly and rumour has it that she might be contemplating conversion to Islam.
In January 2017, she deleted all her instagram posts and only left an Arabic phrase ‘Assalam o Alaikum in the header which means ‘Peace be upon you’.
In April 2016, she was photographed in New York holding a copy of the Holy Quran.
She, however, refused all statements of her converting to Islam but stated that she had an interest in studying the Holy Quran.
She also felt ‘honored’ when a Syrian refugee gave her a hijab as an invitation into her culture.
