German orchestra plays SRK’s ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ at film fest
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai has continued to live in people’s hearts since its release in 1998.
BERLIN: Karan Johar’s directorial debut ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ is a film that is timeless. Even two decades after the movie first hit people’s screens, its popularity hasn’t decreased one bit.
It was only recently that Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’s world-famous title song was played by German musicians during the Berlin film festival as it paid ode to the movie’s projection and celebration of love and friendship.
Soon after, the audience took to social media, sharing the video of this heart-rending musical tribute.
Karan Johar, who is part of the delegation participating in the European Film Market from February 16-18 in Berlin, shared the video himself and tweeted:
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai has continued to live in people’s hearts since its release in 1998.
It proved to be a turning point in the careers of all leading actors, including Shah Rukh, Rani Mukherjee and Kajol, after which they started getting approached by industry’s top directors who wanted to cast them in their productions.
