LOS ANGELES: George Clooney has at last, opened up about the love story of him and his barrister wife, Amal Clooney four years after they tied the knot.
On Netflix's ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction’ with David Letterman, the 56- year- old Hollywood superstar took the wrap off the secrecy of how he got together with his 39-year-old wife and human rights lawyer Amal and it is as enchanting as we anticipated.
The actor-cum-director stated that he met Amal by chance at his Lake Como home when a friend called and asked if he could bring someone along. Immediately after that, he received a call from his agent who already knew the British lawyer and said that he will get married to the woman he is about to meet –and that prophecy came true in 2014.
He elaborated on their first meeting, where they spent the entire night talking despite the fact that Clooney’s parents were also present in the house.
The two remained in touch through emails and in due course realized they were meant for each other. The power couple had a romantic wedding in Venice in 2014 and is now parents to seven month old twins, Ella and Alexander.
The fans of George and Amal Clooney can watch their show at Netflix next week on February 9.
