After the hit success of Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar and Dangal in Chinese cinemas, Salman Khan’s 2015 hit film Bajrangi Bhaijaan is ready to be premiered in Chinese theatres as Little Lolita Monkey God Uncle on March 2.
Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijan ranks number three in the Indian 300 crore club along with his own Tiger Zinda Hai and Aamir Khan’s Dangal. The movie will be premiered in 8000 screens in China next month.
Aamir Khan has developed an unparalleled fan base in China with Dangal setting unprecedented records in the country for the first time. It opened in China in May 2017 and pretty soon was raking among the highest grossing Indian films in China.
It is too early to tell whether Bajrangi Bhaijaan would supersede Dangal’s record in the Chinese box office because Aamir Khan’s recently released Secret Superstar has already broken Dangal’s previous records. The film earned over Indian 127 crores in the opening weekend which was more than Dangal’s three-day revenue of Indian 80 crore.
