Aishwarya receives ‘First Ladies Award’ for being member jury at Cannes
Aishwarya, being the brand ambassador of renowned Parisian cosmetic brand, L’Oreal has been a regular attendee of prestigious Cannes Festival. 2017 marked her 15 years at the event.
NEW DEHLI: Bollywood diva, Aishwarya Rai Bachan was awarded the prestigious First Ladies Award for being the first Indian actress to act as jury member at Cannes Film Festival.
The award was presented by President Pam Nath Kovind at The Rashtrapati Bhawan on Saturday evening.
112 women from various different fields were selected by who have set milestones in their respective fields. They included iconic women like tennis player Sania Mirza, boxer Mary Kom, Everest climber Bachendri Pal and Olympic medal winning badminton player PV Sindhu, visually impaired chartered accountant Rajani Gopalkrishna and others.
