MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Rani Mukherji paid a penalty of Rs2.3 million to the Birhanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for illegal construction of her bungalow at Juhu.
According to reports, Bollywood actress Rani Mukherji paid a penalty of Rs2.3 million to the Birhanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for illegal construction of her bungalow at Juhu
The BMC had imposed these penalties on her bungalow for additional work , repair and development charges.
BMC had issued a notice to Rani and she was asked to stop the construction of the bungalow. According to the information, when the BMC officials reached the bungalow, they found that the construction had already been done.
The entire 3-month dispute ended after BMC received the fine of Rs 2.3 million from the actress.
In the recent past, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Kapil Sharma and Arjun Kapoor had also received notices for illegal construction by BMC.
