LAHORE: Cricketer Umar Akmal on Wednesday has charged coach Mickey Arthur for verbally abusing him in front of chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq.
He also alleged that senior players did not stop Arthur from abusing him.
Akmal told that the coach was also abusive towards other players.
He further claimed that Arthur had once said to him, "Don't come to the Academy and go, play club-level cricket".
However, when Geo News contacted Mickey Arthur, he denied the said charges and said that he never abused Umar Akmal.
