Here’s why Salman Khan does not invite Nawazuddin Siddiqui to his parties anymore
The Sultan actor, Salman Khan, is known for his splendid functions. However, his Bajrangi Bhaijaan co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui revealed that he is no longer invited to Khan’s parties.
Nawazuddin is currently playing the role of author Saadat Hasan Manto in his upcoming film, Manto, directed by Nandita Das. The actor has previously been starred in Raees, kick etc and has worked with on-screen biggies like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and has amused his fans even more.
The actor, in a recent interview, has now revealed that he is ‘uncomfortable attending ‘desi’ get-togethers. ‘Like everybody else, Salman bhai too used to invite me to his parties but I tend to avoid all Bollywood bashes. So now, I guess, everybody has decided not to invite me knowing I'll say 'no'," Nawazuddin told Mumbai Mirror.
He mentioned that none of the Khans ever overpowered him, instead praised him for his work. He said, “When I was filming Raees, I was constantly telling myself that it wasn’t Shah Rukh Khan, the superstar, who was standing there in front of me because that would be disrespectful to the actor. So for me, he was always Raees Khan.”
