MUMBAI: Bollywood superstars Priyanka Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra were cast in a jewelry ad in which the latter proposes to the former. One can't help but witness the on-screen chemistry and magical persona when the two superstars come together in reel life.
The ad starts with Sidharth making all the necessary arrangements to surprise Priyanka by proposing to her. To his horror, she arrives at the restaurant all angry and frustrated at people taking her for granted and tells him she won't say yes to anyone ever.
"This is the month for saying no," she says as Sidharth appears to wince.
He fidgets with the ring in his pocket and Priyanka catches it. Finally catching on, Priyanka asks him what he's hiding. Sidharth whips out the ring, proposes to her as the lights in the background turn on to form the words behind her, "Will you marry me?"
Though both of them have never worked before in a film together, this can certainly set the sparks for an on-screen collaboration and one which does not involve a jewelry add.
"Priyanka is a fun actor to work with. We did hit it off really well in the first hour. It is commendable to see how she manages her time so seamlessly. She is fabulous at multi-tasking," said Sidharth Malhotra.
"I hope that directors are reading this. Hopefully, we will get something good together soon. I think it will be very exciting to watch a fresh pair like us on the silver screen in a full-fledged film."
