ISLAMABAD: Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif is as popular in Pakistan as in India.
The rosey-cheeked actress On Wednesday made headlines in Pakistani media after country’s top court adjourned hearing of a high profile case involving an opposition party and the ruling family.
Story is that Naeem Bukhari, the lawyer representing Pakistan’s former cricket hero and senior politician Imran Khan, ignored a reporter who asked about the proceedings apparently due to sensitivity of the case.
When the lawyer flatly refused to answer the questions, a reporter jokingly asked him to tell the media what Katrina Kaif is up to, if he is reluctant to discuss the case.
The witty lawyer, who has hosted various TV shows, quipped: “It’s been a while I haven’t met her. I will let you know when I meet Katrina”.
