NEW DELHI: Bollowood films ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Shivaay will not be released in Pakistan, Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed on Wednesday.
He said Fox Star Studios and Reliance Entertainment, the distributors of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Shivaay’ have informed him of the development.
In the wake of rising Pak-India tensions, Fawad Khan’s ADHM faced several hiccups and a possible ban by the Indian extremist group Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.

The MNS had demanded that Pakistani actors be removed from all the films and should not be allowed to work in Bollywood. Later, the extremist group allowed screening after filmmaker Karan Johar was forced to pay extortion money.
In response, Pakistani distributors and exhibitors have also stopped screening of Indian movies here.
