ABU DHABI: Pakistan’s Captain Misbah ul Haq won toss and opted to bat first in second Test match against West Indies here on Friday.
Normal service resumed with a traditional red ball and daylight play after both teams fought out a tension-packed pink ball day-night Test in Dubai, won by Pakistan by a narrow 56-run margin.
Senior batsman Younis Khan stages a comeback after missing the first Test as he was recovering from dengue fever. Left-arm spinner Zulfiqar Babar and fast bowler Rahat Ali also come in the side.
Pacemen Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz are rested while Babar Azam was left out.
West Indies were forced to make one change as wicketkeeper-batsman Shane Dowrich was unfit, making way for Shai Hope.
It is Misbah-ul-Haq´s 48th Test as captain, equalling Imran Khan´s record of most matches as Pakistan skipper.
