KARACHI: Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has said when two neighbours fight both homes are affected.
Apparently concerned over the growing tension between the two countries, Afridi took twitter and asked both India and Pakistan to maintain peace and say no to war as tensions between the two countries continue to rise along the LoC.

Afridi said Pakistan is a peace loving country and “wants cordial relations with everyone.” He also added that there is no need to take extreme measures when things can be resolved using dialogues.

Tensions have soared high between the two nuclear-armed neighbours over Occupied Kashmir and an attack on the Indian army's brigade headquarters in Uri, which left 18 Indian soldiers dead.
Two Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom when Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing across the Line of Control (LoC) on Thursday morning, the ISPR confirmed.
In retaliatory firing by Pakistani forces in response to Indian aggression at the Line of Control 14 Indian soldiers were killed, sources said on Thursday.
