LAHORE: Pakistan’s world renowned off-break bowler Saeed Ajmal expressed despondency to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) about his farewell offer as no retirement has been decided.
A recent announcement of farewell to Shahid Afridi was released by PCB which later followed its statement that Saeed Ajmal with Shahid Afridi would also be given a farewell.
Off-spinner Saeed Ajmal announced that he has no plan of retirement from One-Day and T20 International cricket.
However, he said that if he would be asked to play Test match against West Indies then he might retire from Test cricket.
Sources reported that Saeed Ajmal is deeply desponded on PCB statement as the Board has no right to declare retirement of any player.
He questioned that if PCB wanted him to get retired then why a big amount was wasted on clearing his bowling action.
