Nottingham: England beat Pakistan by 169 runs to win the third one-day international at Trent Bridge on Tuesday and take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
England´s victory in this day/night match was all but assured after they made a new ODI record total of 444 for three featuring opener Alex Hales´s national best 171.
Pakistan opener Sharjeel Khan made 58 as did Mohammad Amir -- the highest ODI score by a No 11 batsman -- before the tourists were bowled out for 275 with 44 balls to spare.
The series continues at Headingley, Yorkshire´s Leeds headquarters, on Thursday.
