Rob Lowe 'rallies round' Chad as family mourns tragic loss
Chad Lowe's daughter Fiona took her own life earlier this week
Chad Lowe is turning to his elder brother Rob Lowe for support following the tragic death of his daughter, Fiona.
As the family grapples with unimaginable shock, Rob "dropped everything" and "rushed" to Chad's side.
“Chad is his little brother, and the second he heard, Hollywood stopped mattering. There was nowhere else Rob was going to be except by Chad’s side," the source told Rob Shuter on Thursday.
“Rob knows there are no words that can fix this,” the confidant continued. “He can’t take away Chad’s grief."
"What he can do is be present, protect his brother and make absolutely certain he never has to face this alone," a tipster added.
For those unaware, Chad's daughter took her own life on Tuesday, September 29. She was just 13.
“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” Chad and his wife Kim Painter said in a joint statement at that time.
"She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance," they continued. “She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives."
"Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time," the Lowe family added. “If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988."
