Kelly Clarkson reveals why she isn’t dating right now
Kelly Clarkson is enjoying her time as Miss Independent
Kelly Clarkson has finally revealed why she doesn't want to get back into the dating scene.
While appearing on the latest episode of the Las Culturistas podcast, the 44-year-old TV host said that she is not ready to start dating again because her children are currently her top priority.
When hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers asked Kelly why she’s not dating at the moment, the singer replied, “My kids right now, I think there's a lot behind that, but I think that would rock their boat a little bit," said Kelly.
The Stronger hitmaker added that she is enjoying her single life.
“Honestly, this is not a bulls--t answer, I love my life right now,” said Kelly. “Like, it just got like to where I am not exhausted at every point of it."
"And I feel like if you're going to be in a relationship, you have to be willing to give some of your time up. And I am unwilling," she added.
For those unaware, Kelly is a mother to two kids, River, 12, and Remy, 10, whom she shared with her late ex Brandon Blackstock.
Brandon passed away in August 2025 after a years-long battle against melanoma. Kelly was married to Bradon for seven years before their split in 2022.
