Amanda Holden files to trademark name as she makes major career leap

Amanda Holden is reportedly planning to expand her business empire.

The Britain's Got Talent judge who already has a homeware collection and is an ambassador for Sam Faiers' brand Revive Collagen, has filed papers to trademark her name.

According to The Sun, the 55-year-old has submitted an Intellectual Property Office application to trademark her name for future use on beauty products and website.

It also covers cosmetics and perfumes, with the star hoping to emulate the success of other stars' wellness brands.

Gwyneth Paltrow has made £323million from her business Goop, while Holly Willoughby has launched Wylde Moon.

As Amanda remains youthful as ever, she told her decision to opt for non-surgical treatments to The Guardian, saying, “I'd never be able to go under the knife because I have a skin condition which means I overproduce scar tissue, but I'm all for anything to make anyone feel better.”

“If they invent something that doesn't involve a knife I'll definitely be having it in the future,” she admitted.

“I was quoted as saying I'd never use Botox again – what I actually said was: "Never say never", but I haven't had any for months,” Amanda mentioned.

Meanwhile, for fitness, Amanda runs three to four miles a week in addition to Kundalini yoga practice and a “Viking workout regime.

Despite her somewhat intense-sounding exercise plan, she reiterates that she doesn't do it because she “feels like she has to” and explained the importance of balance.

She told TV Times, “I am not a slave to any beauty or fitness regime because I love food too much. But the deal I struck with myself was I have to run for my rosé wine in the summer and run for my red wine in winter.”

Aside from her reported business empire plans, Amanda Holden has a busy TV and radio career.

The television personality co-hosts the national Heart Breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston every weekday morning, is a judge on Britain's Got Talent and presents Celebrity Inner Circle.
