Sutton Foster goes 'through hell' due to Hugh Jackman's ties with Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively
Hugh Jackman 'upsets' his partner Sutton Foster due to Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively
Sutton Foster’s relationship with Hugh Jackman is reportedly crumbling because of his close bond with Ryan Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively.
An insider told Woman’s Day magazine that Foster has clearly admonished her partner for keeping a close relationship with Reynolds and Lively because of their established images in Hollywood after high-profile court cases.
The source said, “Sutton and Blake don't get on, and combined with the fact that Blake's recent legal issues have affected Ryan's career, Sutton's right to be fearful of Hugh hanging out with Ryan.”
Notably, the Gilmore Girls star was wholeheartedly supporting Reynolds and Lively when she was fighting a legal battle with her It Ends with Us actor and director Justin Baldoni; however, she does not want to be involved in any drama.
On the contrary, Jackman is not even thinking about ending his friendship with Reynolds, as he said they both share common values and had been through so much together.
The source stated, “Hugh's not having any of it, of course. He's always been a loyal friend and has seen so many of his close mates go through hell – he's always stood by them. Ryan's one of them.”
“He knows Ryan's not doing so well and wants to help him get through this, no matter who it upsets.”
However, “When it comes to Blake's one-on-one with Sutton, they've never had a deep and meaningful friendship,” the insider concluded.
It is pertinent to mention that Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, who first met on the set of X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2007 in Sydney, have been friends for almost twenty years now.
