Dakota Johnson's mom shares anti-Trump message for American voters
Dakota Johnson's mother urges Americans to defeat President Donald Trump's supporters
Hollywood actress Melanie Griffith on Saturday shared a political message on her Instagram Stories, urging people to vote against Donald Trump in November's mid-term elections.
The message shared by Dakota Johnson's mother, read, "Extremist MAGA Republicans have declared war on American voters. We can and must defeat them this November."
MAGA, Make America Great Again, is a reference to the supporters of President Donald Trump.
On August 31, Melanie Griffith a shared a fake quote attributed to Hollywood legend Clint East about US President Donald Trump.
The tribute was originally posted by actor and comedian John Leguizamo claiming lifelong Republican Clint Eastwood had called Donald Trump’s presidency “the greatest deception ever carried out on the American public.”
John Leguizamo shared the post with the caption, “Finally seeing the light! but why does it take this level of destruction to our constitution and democracy for republicans to speak up?”
The post featuring images of Eastwood and Trump with the purported quote, has circulated widely online. However, the statement attributed to Eastwood is fabricated.
