Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake bring back Holy Grail more than a decade later.
On September 10, Justin surprised concertgoers in Paris when he joined Jay-Z onstage for a rare performance of their hit collaboration Holy Grail.
He made a surprise appearance during Jay-Z’s 30 Tour stop at Stade de France, where the longtime collaborators reunited to perform the 2013 track from Jay-Z’s album Magna Carta Holy Grail.
Later, Justin took to Instagram and shared a series of photos, including images of himself and Jay-Z, 56, posing beneath the stadium lights.
Released in 2013, the song explores the complicated relationship both artists have with fame.
Previously, Jay-Z the track as the centerpiece of Magna Carta Holy Grail and discussed the dangers of fame in an interview with the BBC.
Notably, the rapper has praised Justin Timberlake's musical abilities, calling him one of the great singers of their generation.
