Sydney Sweeney refuses to be just the 'face' of brands: Here's why
The ‘Anyone But You’ star launched her own lingerie brand earlier this year
Sydney Sweeney is refusing to be just the "face" of brands and admitted she wants to "sit at a table and be a part of every discussion."
The 28-year-old actress, who has also produced and recently launched her own lingerie brand, insisted she works "better" when she has "more hats to wear."
She told Complex, "I love being able to be involved in the entire process with every single person from the ground up. It is such a great ownership.
The Housemaid star explained she is currently "challenging" herself.
"I'm learning so much more, but then I also have such a creative authority that is really amazing to be able to sit at a table and be a part of every discussion, whether it's from casting, marketing, budgeting, who we're going to sell this to, what market."
"Being involved in all of that has honestly been able to help me appreciate every single person on set," she admitted.
Sydney also revealed that she recently became an equity partner of a sports prediction market, named Novig, and has had great pleasure while starring in the company's new Just Sports campaign.
She gushed, "I've always believed that the best partnerships are the ones where everyone's getting to collaborate."
One of the other reasons she is thrilled to be part of Novig is that she gets into the weeds of it with an amazing team along with giving her face.
"Being able to be a part of watching this company grow and not just be the face of it is really important to me," she added.
