Cardi B, Offset set aside divorce drama for son and daughter's birthdays
Cardi B and Offset come together for joint kids' birthday bash
Cardi B and Offset put their contentious divorce aside to celebrate their children's birthdays over the weekend.
The exes each shared Instagram Stories from a joint celebration for their son Wave, who turned 5 on September 4, and daughter Blossom, who turns 2 on September 7.
The party was double-themed — Disney for Blossom and Sonic the Hedgehog for Wave — and included a ball pit, carnival games, an open bar, and elaborate food spreads.
Cardi, 33, dressed as Minnie Mouse for the occasion and showed off a Chipotle-themed food station, joking to fans that while marriage isn't in her near future, she can still deliver on an old promise involving the burrito chain.
She also posted a clip of her and Offset's eldest daughter, Kulture, 8, striking poses on a mini runway.
Offset, 34, shared his own video of Wave dancing with cotton candy. The two exes did not post any photos or videos together.
Cardi and Offset married in 2017 and had an on-and-off relationship marked by repeated splits and reconciliations before Cardi filed for divorce a second time in 2024, amid cheating rumours.
The breakup turned public and heated, with Cardi accusing Offset on social media last year of being largely absent from their children's lives.
Offset has since said he wants "peace" for the family moving forward.
Cardi, who welcomed a son with NFL player Stefon Diggs in November 2025, said earlier this year that she feels like a different person since the divorce, describing herself as "reborn."
