WWE is reportedly overhauling its latest round NXT through the expansion of developmental roster cuts.

As per the latest reports, 10 wrestlers have been released from the company. The notable names include Jasper Troy who is a former WWE Speed Champion, Wendy Choo, a long-tenured veteran in the developmental system, PJ Vasa and Adriana Rizzo.

The latest NXT roster cuts are seen as the company’s strategy to assess talent evaluation process coupled with broad-spectrum efforts “to streamline its roster under parent company TKO Group Holdings.”

Speaking about the talent evaluation, the routine performance assessments will eliminate wrestlers who have stalled creatively or are not projected to transition to the main roster. Moreover, the roster management will prevent overcrowding from incoming Performance Center recruits and independent prospects.

NXT and developmental talent are subject to a standard 30-day non-compete period before becoming free agents, unlike the 90-day clauses typically given to main-roster wrestlers.

The full list of wrestlers include:

  1. Jasper Troy
  2. Wendy Choo
  3. Adriana Rizzo
  4. Zena Sterling
  5. Anya Rune
  6. Braxton Cole
  7. PJ Vasa
  8. Gary Wilson
  9. Ellen Akesson
  10. Marcus Brown

Additional details regarding the departures, including the circumstances behind individual releases, have yet to emerge.
