Back in 2020, Gal Gadot and her husband, Jaron Varsano, founded Goodles, a brand focused onxed macamacd cheese.

Her idea was to make the mac-and-cheese more nutritious than other brands already on the market.

Now, Goodles Food has been set for acquisition by none other than Barilla.

Billed as one of the largest pasta producers, Barilla, according to the Wall Street Journal, the Italian food giant agreed to buy the young company.

The amount has not been disclosed, and it is also unclear what role, if any, Gadot would have in a post-acquisition setting.

Meanwhile, Guido Barilla, chairman of the Barilla Group, said his company had been “following Goodles closely for some time and became increasingly impressed by the strength of the brand, the quality of its products and the momentum behind its growth.”

He continued, “As we got to know the management team, led by Jen Zeszut, we were equally impressed by the strength of the organization, its unity and its forward-looking mindset."

"Together, these qualities convinced us that Goodles was the right choice and represents an exciting opportunity for the future," the exec concluded.
