Sarah Jessica Parker drops truth bomb about her 'Carrie Bradshaw' persona

Sarah Jessica Parker wants to make one thing clear to her fans that she is not like Carrie Bradshaw.

The 61-year-old actress, who portrayed the character for three decades in Sex and the City and its spin-off And Just Like That, does not want to be seen as her iconic character and that she has her own personality.

During a recent sit-down with British Vogue, when she was asked about one common misconception about her, Sarah, without any second thought, said, "That I'm Carrie."

Sex and the City ran for six seasons from 1998 to 2004 and originally aired on the cable network HBO. The series follows the story of four friends in New York City navigating life, careers, and relationships.

Sarah also talked about the "most NY thing" she does, as a New Yorker, noting, "I will scream 'Taxi!' day or night. I am the person who gets everyone’s taxi.

Now, the mom of three shared that she is also teaching her daughters "how to get one"

But her twin girls, Marion and Tabitha, say, "We can’t scream like that."

Ignoring their plea, Sarah tells them they "have to" learn.

Sarah is also mom to 23-year-old son James.

Elsewhere during the conversation, Sarah called her family her "biggest achievement".

"My three children are good kids. We are happiest when we know we can be together, but sometimes I’m like, 'I wish you’d given me that laundry sooner!'"
