Taylor Sheridan gets major praise from his stars: Here’s what they’re saying

Taylor Sheridan, a top creator, is a favourite of several actors. Robert Patrcik is one of them.

The actor starred in 1923, the prequel to Yellowstone.

Bringing in Harrison Ford, Patrick recalled that both of them agreed while together on Sheridan's show that it was exceptional.

“Harrison [Ford] and I had worked together, like, 16 years earlier in a movie called Firewall, and we got together on the first day, we had the first scene, and we were talking about the script, and I was going, like, it’s like reading Ernest Hemingway."

He told People, “I mean, these scripts – it's like For Whom the Bell Tolls or something.”

“It’s just so rich, and we both agreed that it was,” the actor said, adding, “The scripts were amazing.”

But Patrick was not alone in praising Sheridan, who has worked with him before. 

Ash Santos is another.

She is in Marshals as Andrea, a show created by Sheridan.

“Because he was an actor, he very much cares about the actor’s process,” the 33-year-old told People.

That said, the actress raved about the director's no-nonse approach.

“What I appreciate about him is that he just keeps it very real. He just kind of cuts through the bull***."

“He’s just very like, ‘Okay, this is what I’m trying to see. This is why," she concluded.
