Dick Van Dyke, now 100 years old, has shared a glimpse of the work that goes into keeping him fit at 100 years old.

The actor shared a video of himself this Friday using an inversion table, flexing his commitment to staying active well into his later years.

He captioned it with a nod to his age and his ongoing fitness routine, writing, “#DVD100 1/2 workout inversion table #keepmoving.”

He has previously shared that he exercises regularly with gym stops thrice a week with his wife Arlene Silver, 54.

“Somebody said, ‘To what do you attribute your age and physical condition?’” Van Dyke said on Ted Danson’s podcast Where Everybody Knows Your Name in January 2025.

“I’ve always exercised three days a week,” he continued, adding, “[My wife and I] go to the gym still, and I think that’s why I’m not stove up like my equals.”

Van Dyke also credits consistent exercise for helping him maintain his physical condition over the years. He also mentioned incorporating stretching, sit-ups, and yoga into his routine.

Ahead of his 100th birthday last year, Van Dyke spoke about how he's feeling overall, telling People he feels “really good for 100.”

“Sometimes I have more energy than others, but I never wake up in a bad mood,” he added before quipping, “I feel like I’m about 13.”

He credited maintaining a positive outlook and avoiding feelings of anger or hatred.

“I’ve always thought that anger is one thing that eats up a person’s insides — and hate,” he explained. “And I never really was able to work up a feeling of hate. I think that is one of the chief things that kept me going.”

“There were things I didn’t like, people I don’t like and disapprove of,” the Mary Poppins actor continued. “But I never really was able to do a white heat kind of hate. My father was constantly upset by the state of things in his life, and it did take him at 73 years old.”
