Brad Pitt 'feeling suicidal' amid crushing setback?
Brad Pitt has 'fallen off the wagon' as he goes through major setback in life
It is being reported that Brad Pitt has started consuming alcohol, breaking his seven-year sobriety journey.
Following his split from Angelina Jolie in 2016, the situations he faced afterwards made him fall off the wagon.
An insider told Radar Online, "Brad has been to h***** and back in recent years, so it's really no big surprise that he's fallen off the wagon.”
“He tried his best, and the fact he stayed sober for so long is little short of heroic,” the source said. “But sadly, the hits kept on coming."
Notably, what “hit him like a ton of bricks and ripped his morale to shreds” is the loss of his children, as four out of his six children have gone to court to drop “Pitt” from their last names, including Shiloh, Vivienne, Zahara, and Maddox. Knox and Pax did not file legal paper work; they do not use his name.
As per the insider, "That's what people in his life are assuming drove him over the edge and back to the bottle – the horrific realization that his relationship with his kids has totally broken down and that they've chosen to ditch him and staunchly support their mother instead.”
"The fact that this period coincided with him simultaneously feeling suicidal is just tragic to the folks that know Brad. He clearly saw it as a way out of his h******,” the source concluded.
It is pertinent to mention that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who fell in love on the set of their 2005 film Mr. & Mrs. Smith, tied the knot in 2014 but parted ways after a brutal fight on a flight in 2016 which involved a verbal and physical altercation.
