Ryan Reynolds showers love on 'genius' wife Blake Lively on her special day

Ryan Reynold is a proud husband as he gushes over his "courageous" wife Blake Lively on her big day.

The Deadpool & Wolverine star took to his Instagram account to mark his "unreasonably cute" partner's birthday along with a sweet note for Blake.

In the celebratory post, the doting husband posted a series of snaps from recent ones to old throwback fun moments with Blake.

Confessing his love for the A Simple Favor actress, he penned, "August 25th is this family’s Super Bowl™️. Happy Birthday to the very best human I know."

Ryan praised, "You’re not just another courageous and deeply kind genius. You’re also unreasonably cute. I know how lucky I am that you were born."

"Every time I’ve ever hit my head, it’s YOUR life that flashes before my eyes," he concluded.

The first slide in the carousel featured a picture of Blake apparently at Disneyland, as the shades she was wearing reflected the Disney castle.

In the next image, she was seen hugging her daughter as the mother-daughter duo wore matching shirts.

One picture also featured Blake and Ryan's youngest kid, son Olin, riding over the shoulders of her mama.

The carousel also included Blake's throwback snaps with Ryan having fun with their kids.

Ryan concluded the slides with a final picture of Blake seemingly from her Gossip Girl days.

It is pertinent to mention that Ryan and Blake got married in September 2012 and welcomed four kids together: three daughters, James, born in December 2014, Inez, born in September 2016, Betty, born in 2019, and one son Olin, born in February 2023.

As fans rushed to send love and well wishes to Blake in the comment section, Ryan's pal and Deadpool & Wolverine costar Hugh Jackman also wished her.

Hugh wrote, "Happy birthday Blake!!!"
