Google Cloud launches AI tools for legal and financial workflows

Google Cloud introduced Gemini Enterprise for Legal, a purpose-built agentic AI solution tailored for legal workflows. The solution includes specialized expertise for lawyers, connectors to targeted legal frameworks, an expanding partner ecosystem of this-party agents, and the foundational Gemini Enterprise platform.

At present, it is available in preview for the legal industry, Gemini Enterprise for legal doubts with customers including specialized legal teams from Cleary, Freshfields, Weil and Connolly.

The company said its Gemini Enterprise for Legal would assist law firms use AI to balance operational and strategic work, allowing lawyers to focus on higher-value services while keeping high-valued services while keeping client data secure and confidential.

The new plug-in for Gemini Enterprise incorporates legal software compatibility and a stable of AI agents that Google said can handle autonomous administration.

Law firms are immediately adopting AI to assist legal research, draft filings and perform other legal tasks while utilizing AI for business operations like crucial case management to reduce costs and improve entire efficiency.

Google Cloud offers a high-performance AI engine including AI infrastructure, reading models like Gemini, data management capabilities and security solutions, enabling companies to adapt their operations for the age of autonomous AI in the agentic era.
