Trump reveals what’s behind the new White House South lawn helipad

US President Donald Trump spoke to reporters and gave them a guided walking tour of the White House renovations and construction sites including the new helipad in Washington, D.C.

During an unplanned tour, Trump highlighted the new helipad’s carved granite, presenting the presidential seal and built to last a million years. He noted the grass donated by ScottsMiracle-Gro and credited Sikorsky for funding the long-planned projects which resolved site challenges driven by powerful new presidential helicopters.

In this connection, Trump said: “For 50 years, more than that, they've wanted to have a heliport, but nobody knew how to go about it. We are building a great heliport. It's donated by Sikorsky, by the helicopter company, because we have helicopters that can't even land here.”

The video is gaining traction on social platform X with users writing compelling reactions as, “Someone said he stands like he smells a good pie and is about to float towards it and I haven't been able to get it outta my mind since.”

Second remarked, “He's probably the only president in America in history that actually knows how to build a building. Everyone else just hires people. We are so lucky to have him as our president.”

According to the Republican president, the slab is engraved with “the seal of the USA.” In addition, he signed a piece of the stone that will be inserted into the helipad.
