Kanye West drops explosive statement on Yeezy’s power
Kanye West's remark comes after Yeezy's latest product sold out quickly
Kanye West is no stranger to making bold claims. Recently, he did make another explosive statement about the power of Yeezy - his fashion brand.
Taking to X, Ye boasted, “No matter how big any fashion brand is, there’s no brand other than Yeezy that can bring out 120,000 people a night.”
The declaration comes as the rapper-cum-fashion mogul celebrated a key Yeezy milestone with the launch of YS-01 slides.
The product - though in multiple colorways - instantly sold out on the internet, leading the Grammy winner to double down on the massive influence of Yeezy.
“Yeezy is Apple of clothing,” he declared.
West has also made the comparison before.
In a 2020 interview with The Wall Street Journal, he said, "To make the Apple of apparel, the next Gap, it has to be a new invention."
"To invent something that's so good that you don't even get credit for it because it's the norm,” he shared.
In addition, Aus Taylor, who is the key collaborator on the Ye Live Concert Tour in 2026 and the brain behind the rotating half-sphere Earth stage, which stunned the industry and fans, gushed about him on social media.
In his post on Instagram, he raved about Ye, stating, “Ima make one thing clear. I don’t care who it is. The real genius is Ye."
"Ye is the greatest selector & scouter to ever live. And he brings people on to execute HIS vision," Taylor concluded.
