Johnny Devenanzio pays a heartfelt tribute to 'The Challenge' castmate Tyler Duckworth after his death
The Challenge legend Johnny 'Bananas' Devenanzio is remembering his late friend Tyler Duckworth following his sudden death.
Taking to his Instagram handle on Sunday, the 44-year-old TV personality paid an emotional tribute to Tyler by sharing a clip of himself singing Zach Bryan’s hit song, Pink Skies, alongside a montage of photos spanning the years they spent together.
“You were more than a friend. More than a roommate. You were the brother I never had,” Johnny penned in the caption.
“Rest easy, Tyler. You’ll always be family," he added.
For those unversed, Tyler was found dead at his home in North Dakota on August 11 at the age of 44. His death was announced by his mom, Joni, on social media on Thursday, August 13.
“My son, Tyler, passed away earlier this week. Cause of death has yet to be determined,” she wrote on Facebook.
“I will post on Facebook about services as soon as his dad and I figure it out," added the reality star's mom.
Recently, Paulie Calafiore also expressed his grief over the sudden death of his Challenge castmate on social media.
“Life is crazy. RIP Mighty Duckworth! You were so vibrant 2 weeks ago, it’s so wild to imagine your vibrant energy no longer here," he penned on Instagram.
"Sending prayers and love to your family and friends. The Challenge fam lost a legend," Paulie added.
