Alex Cooper's drink company reportedly shutting down
Alex Cooper first came up with the idea for the hydration brand while touring in 2024
Alex Cooper's beverage company, Unwell Beverage, is reportedly shutting down.
A report from Bloomberg, published Thursday, has said the brand will officially close after selling its Halloween-themed drinks this fall.
The information comes from sources connected to Target, which had been the brand's main retail partner. The beverage line launched in 2025 through a partnership with Nestlé.
The brand started with a hydration drink line before expanding to include products focused on energy, focus, and protein.
The Call Her Daddy podcast host, 31, has previously spoken about what inspired her to start the beverage brand, explaining that she noticed most hydration and energy drinks on the market seemed to be marketed mainly toward men.
Cooper first came up with the idea for the hydration line while touring in 2024. She later shared that the drinks were designed with busy, on-the-go lifestyles in mind, explaining that she often felt exhausted and dehydrated despite not drinking alcohol, and struggled to find hydration products that tasted good without excess sugar.
Cooper later expanded her business further by launching the Unwell Network, a media platform that features podcasts from multiple different creators.
