Dylan Sprouse finally reveals how he met wife Barbara Palvin

Dylan Sprouse has finally revealed how he met his wife, Barbara Palvin.

The Tuesday, August 4 episode of Amanda Hirsch’s Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast hosted the 34-year-old American actor, where he opened up about how he and Palvin met for the first time in 2017.

Sprouse, who is expecting his first child with the Hungarian model and actress, shared that he made a move to meet her by slipping into her DM.

He said, “We met in person at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party, and she cut me in line for the red carpet. Totally like a rom-com, she just jumps over the red velvet divider and cuts me.”

“And I was like, ‘I don’t care how pretty you are, you’re not cutting me.’ And she turns around, and I’m wearing this red and white striped shirt, and she goes, ‘What, are you a hot dog vendor?’” the Beautiful Disaster star remembered, adding “it was that simple.”

Sprouse went on to share that he asked her to “wait by the door” that same night when they met each other and she replied, “Hey I’m still here by the door. Are you coming or not?” He also suggested her to “talk more s**** together” over direct messages.

For those unaware, the After We Collide star and Palvin tied the knot on July 15, 2023, in Hungary.

It is pertinent to mention that Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin announced the news of their pregnancy at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, revealing they are expecting a girl as their first child.
