Patrick Warburton recalls 'funny' set story with Carol Burnett
Patrick Warburton reminisces about his collaboration with Carol Burnett
Patrick Warburton recently got candid and reminisced about working with Carol Burnett.
The 61-year-old American actor and comedian appeared on a recent episode of Nostalgia Tonight with Joe Sibilia on radio station AM 970 The Answer, where he opened up about getting intimate with Burnett.
Warburton, who had the privilege of working with the legendary American comedian and actress, 93, in his 20s, revealed that he “made out with her.”
Calling to mind, he shared, “I was 27 at the time and she played a soap star. She played the good sister (the good twin), and the evil twin. And they were both dating the same toy boy, which was 27-year-old me. I had scenes where I was making out with the good one and the bad one.”
“Carol was adorable,” the Zootopia 2 star gushed, adding, “She looked at the director and she goes, ‘Oh, we’re going to have to rehearse this some more.’”
“For me, it was kind of like kissing mom because I grew up with the family on The Carol Burnett Show. But it is funny as I look back. I made out with Carol Burnett...me and the older gals, I don’t know!” Patrick Warburton concluded with a remark.
