Tom Hiddleston reveals one Marvel show to watch before 'Avengers: Doomsday'
Tom Hiddleston, however, kept mum on spoiler-filled questions about 'Avengers: Doomsday'
As the Avengers: Doomsday trailer is finally dropped, the excitement it sparked is arguably unparalleled.
But as Marvel fans are actually aware of the franchise canon, what should a layman follow to understand the upcoming tentpole?
Here, Tom Hiddleston's remarks come as prescient.
"I will always say that people need to watch," the actor told Tech Radar, referring to his standalone series Loki, based on the character he has been portraying since 2010.
However, Hiddleston stopped short of confirming that the series is key viewing for Avengers: Doomsday.
Despite this, the actor who is the franchise's veteran is still dogged with spoiler-filled questions, among them whether his character will reunite with his on-screen brother Thor.
True to his commitments, Huddleston dodged any query that would reveal any aspect of the plot.
Then, there is Deadpool, a profanity-laden antihero.
However, the actor who played the Merc with a Mouth has no spoilers but an announcement for the comic book character's future.
That is, a fourth installment will go into work.
“There’s a few really deep cuts that I think are missing from the movies. I think there’s a few deep cuts missing from some of the comics,” he told Hobby Nonsense.
The star continued, “There’s certainly some stuff that I love that [Deadpool co-creator] Fabian [Nicieza] wrote that is incredible [and] Gerry Duggan, another friend and incredible comic writer, that we can put in."
"But then there’s stuff upcoming. There’s eventually, you know, remotely another ‘Deadpool’ film. So it’s going to be great.”
Meanwhile, Avengers: Doomsday is in cinemas on Dec. 18.
