How Madonna repaired her relationship with daughter Lourdes after years of tension
Madonna's family feud with Lourdes took an unexpected turn
Madonna and Lourdes Leon's bond reportedly strengthened when they collaborated creatively.
The pop icon revealed that writing music together became a turning point in rebuilding their bond.
This comes as Lourdes previously shared about growing up with the global superstar, describing Madonna as a "control freak" and admitting she looked forward to becoming financially independent after finishing high school.
However, sources now say the pair have moved beyond those difficult periods and are enjoying a much closer relationship.
An insider told Radar Online, "It was never about Madonna being provocative."
"The challenge was the revolving door of much younger boyfriends. Some weren't much older than Lourdes and tried to step into family roles. That created real tension," they added. "They've both grown. Today, their bond is stronger than ever."
Madonna has collaborated with her daughter Lourdes Leon on an emotional duet The Test as part of the Queen of Pop's album Confessions II.
Besides Lourdes, Madonna is also mother to five other children.
