Zendaya shares how Tom Holland helped her through nerve-wracking first day on 'The Odyssey' set

Zendaya is expressing her gratitude to her husband Tom Holland for backing her up on the set of The Odyssey.
In Sir Christopher Nolan's upcoming movie, which is a reimagination of Homer's ancient Greek poem, Zendaya plays the goddess of wisdom, Athena's role while Tom stars as Odysseus's son Telemachus.
Despite the fact that the actors do not share a scene in the film, set to hit theaters on July 17, the Euphoria actress revealed that her husband came on her first day of shooting just to give her moral support.
During The Odyssey's New York premiere, Zendaya told Extra TV that she was a little scared on the first day of filming, as it was her first time working under Christopher Nolan.
The Dune actress shared, "You know, some locations he wasn't at, but he was on my first day, which I was very grateful for.
"Because as you can imagine, something like this is quite a daunting task."
She explained, "It's the scale, the scope, it's absolutely extraordinary. So walking onto a Chris Nolan set for the first time is no small feat, so I was happy to have some support."
Elsewhere during the premiere, she revealed to E News that she "cheated" a little bit before landing her role in The Odyssey as she had already read the script and knew it was “extraordinary” and “so moving.”
She gushed, “You would think a piece of literature like this is almost impossible to adapt but if there's anyone who can do it, it's Mr. Nolan.”
