Dylan Sprouse, Barbara Palvin announce first pregnancy revealing gender, name and more

Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin are expecting a baby girl.

The couple, who married in 2023 after five years of dating, revealed in May that the 32-year-old model was pregnant and now they have shared their excitement as they prepare to welcome a daughter into the world.

Appearing on her husband's new podcast Wildmen, Barbara said, “Do you want to share?”

Dylan replied, “Yeah, we’ve been calling her principessa. Which I don’t know why that’s been our like...well, it’s Italian for princess.”

“But no, we are having a baby girl, which I’m very excited about. I’m excited to be a girl dad, actually,” he further expressed.

Barbara believes having a daughter will "mellow" out her Suite Life of Zack and Cody star husband and jokingly said, “You’re going to be so stressed about the princess."

Dylan replied, "I just also unironically love a tea party."

However, the couple are still going "back and forth" on names and have yet to settle on a moniker for the tot.

The Victoria's Secret beauty admitted she hasn't "enjoyed" her pregnancy as much as she'd have liked because she's struggled with symptoms including back pain, difficulty sleeping and a change in her appetite.

She said, "Sometimes I feel guilty because I'm not enjoying pregnancy as much as a lot of women out there.”

"I know it's a gift. It's hard to breathe. I don't know if the mic is picking it up,” Barbara added.

She continued, "I do feel similarities from the first trimester cuz my hunger is getting crazy. If I don't eat, I'm nauseous. I have a lot of stomach acid. I should be eating more protein. That was my mistake the first trimester, too, that I wasn't eating."

The couple always knew they wanted children but Barbara has endometriosis, a condition where tissue from the uterus grows elsewhere in the body, which can cause fertility issues.

So, she underwent surgery in June 2025 to help improve her chances of getting pregnant and said of the procedure at that time, "We wanted to get the surgery done before we started trying. They cleared out everything in the surgery and there's an easier chance to get pregnant because it's a clear shot for baby Dyl."
