Joe Alwyn, Sarah Pidgeon are dating: confirms source

Joe Alwyn is reportedly in a relationship with Love Story actress Sarah Pidgeon.

“They met at an industry event and were introduced around awards season this year,” the source told Us Weekly on Monday about the pair’s budding romance.

“They are casually dating and are really into each other,” confirmed the insider.

The confidant further told the outlet that Joe and Sarah’s romantic relationship is “still pretty new, revealing that the two have “been going on low-key dates in NYC for a few months now, trying to keep things under the radar.”

“Both Sarah and Joe are very intellectual, private and laid-back people, so it feels like a really compatible match,” a tipster added. “They share similar personalities and enjoy spending time together away from the spotlight.”

Joe and Sarah sparked dating rumors earlier this month when the pair was spotted on an outing in Brooklyn.

It is worth mentioning here that the Hamnet actor was previously in a relationship with Taylor Swift. They called it quits in 2023 after six years of dating.

In 2024, Joe addressed rumors that Taylor's album The Tortured Poets Department was inspired by their breakup.

“In thinking on what I was going to say, I would think and hope that anyone and everyone can empathize … This isn’t a direct answer to your question, but just thinking about what I want to talk about,” he replied to The Sunday Times when asked if he ha listened to Taylor’s album.

“I would hope that anyone and everyone can empathize and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years,” continued Joe.

The Brutalist star added, “That is a hard thing to navigate. What is unusual and abnormal in this situation is that, one week later, it’s suddenly in the public domain and the outside world is able to weigh in.”
