Trump brushes off Einstein mention with blunt ‘nobody cares’ remark — Here’s what happened

US President Donald Trump never fails to amuse the world with his personality, famous quips and diplomatic skills. This time too President Trump has taken the internet by strom through his viral clip.

On Monday, Trump signed two executive orders on quantum orders on quantum computing aimed at accelerating American leadership in the global quantum race.

The first directive establishes a national goal to develop a viable, error-corrected quantum computer for scientific research by 2028. The second mandates that federal agencies migrate to post-quantum cryptography by 2031.

When it comes to quantum computing, the mention of Albert Einstein’s is mandatory. Though his relationship with quantum computing is quite ironic: at one hand, he is one of the founding architects of quantum theory, yet he became a skeptic of it.

In 1905, Einstein gave the “photon" concept.” In his paper on the photoelectric effect , Einstein proposed that light is made of discrete packets of energy, or "quanta."

This was the first concrete step toward understanding particles as having quantized properties.

During the press conference, Chris Wright, United States Secretary of Energy, referred to this paper while explaining the importance of quantum computing in today’s age.

Wright said, “121 years ago or 141 years ago, Albert Einstein published a paper…”giving the impression of recalling the exact date.

At this moment, President Trump interjected and jokingly responded, “Nobody cares.”

Trump added, “They won’t even catch you.” All the members of the Trump administration present there took this response lightly and they laughed.

The viral response of Trump also breaks the internet. One user wrote, “lol Trump really hit em with the "nobody cares" mid-Einstein flex energy guy tried to go nerd mode but got shut down instantly, the whole room dying laughing. peak Trump vibes.”

Another commented, “Nobody cares is the most based response possible. Focus on the economy, border, and making America great again — not some 121 year old paper.”

“Trump is actually right here. Nobody cares about whether it's 140 or 121. This guy stammering about it looks like an idiot,” the third one wrote.
