Yeonjun of TXT details ‘fun’ time creating new solo music
K-Pop idol Yeonjun is set to release his second EP, ‘No Labels: Part 02’ just a few months after his solo debut
Yeonjun, known as one of the K-Pop boyband TXT (TOMORROW X TOGETHER) member, talked about his journey as a soloist as he continues making music and gears to release No Labels: Part 02.
The 26-year-old K-pop idol, returns with his second EP on Friday, July 10, eight months after the release of his solo debut record No Labels: Part 01.
He announced No Labels: Part 02 through the fandom platform Weverse, followed by an intimate teaser video on June 15 that sees Yeonjun embrace the quotidian parts of life: showering, brushing his teeth, waltzing around his room.
On June 18, the TXT social media channels unveiled the lead single for Part 02, Ice Cream, with a clip of Yeonjun boarding an ice cream truck. At the end, a groovy bassline hints at the track's sonic direction.
The new project comes on the heels of Part 01, his mini-album that debuted at Number 10 on the Billboard 200.
A six-minute music video featuring three tracks off Part 01, including the lead single Talk to You and his collaboration with KATSEYE's Daniela Let Me Tell You, accompanied the November 7, 2025 release.
Yeonjun served as a co-writer on five of the EP's six songs, as well as a co-choreographer for his performances.
He told The Hollywood Reporter he had "so much fun" during the creation process, which he compared to "another youth."
"Before working on this album, I wonder if I was a person who could be described as someone with no labels," he said of his debut project.
"Through this album, I was able to know more about myself. It was a process of learning about me. Compared to before, I've become a person who's closer to the description of No Labels,” Yeonjun explained of working on solo music.
