Olivia Rodrigo has said she has “smelled” hardcore fans who wear diapers to be front row at her show.

The pop star recently appeared on Kiss FM, where hosts Tyler West and Chloe Burrows asked the worst place she’d had to relieve herself.

Though Rodrigo failed to give a direct answer, she did respond, “I have been to certain concerts and certain festivals where people wear diapers so that they can be front row of the show.”

To the hosts’ horror, the Drop Dead singer added, “That’s been an experience as a performer that I have… smelled.”

Rodrigo went on to cite the New Year’s Eve ball drop in Times Square as a further example, explaining, “Everyone is wearing diapers, they sit there all day. I think about it kind of often.”

Additionally, the Traitor crooner just dropped her latest album You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love.

“This must be the most fully realised journey Rodrigo’s taken us on – an impressive feat, considering how quickly she had to rewrite songs here in light of her break-up,” NME said of the album. “Here is a major popstar who is not afraid to get weirder and more wonderful, to give even more of themselves over in their art. You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love is undeniable evidence of Rodrigo’s growth: as a songwriter, composer, and as a human being.”

Olivia Rodrigo is now set to embark on a giant world tour in 2027, including a whopping 8 nights at London’s O2. These will be her only UK headline dates so far.
