'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' gives fans one more reason to be excited
'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' director shares the reason in a video message
As Spider-Man: Brand New Day buzz is at a fever pitch, a new update may send its fans into a frenzy.
It is from CJ 4DPlex, a South Korean cinema giant. They have previously debuted ScreenX and 4DX.
Now, the company has introduced 'Shot for Screen X.'
This will stretch major scenes out of the movie screen and onto the theater walls, giving fans a striking 270-degree view.
And the first movie to debut in this format is Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The upcoming film's director, Destin Daniel Cretton, who has worked with CJ 4DPlex for their latest 'Shot for Screen X,' shared a few details.
“CJ 4DPlex and their team came to the set to actually shoot the footage that you will experience on screen in the wings of the chosen scenes of our film."
“This is a first. It’s something truly unique that nobody has experienced before—you're going to love it," he shared.
The 'Shot for Screen X' is expected to give viewers a sense of swinging alongside Spider-Man, as the action sequences will not be restricted to the cinema screen.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day heads to the cinema on July 31.
