GTA 6 gameplay: What leaked footage reveals

Grand Theft Auto 6 has not yet launched, and Rockstar Games has not formally detailed its robbery mechanics, but leaked footage and official trailers have given players enough to piece together a significant leap from what GTA 5 offered in 2013.

Here is what analysts and the gaming community have observed so far.

What to expect from GTA 6?

One of the most discussed changes involves how law enforcement responds to crime. In Grand Theft Auto 5, it can be noted that whenever any crime is committed near them, the cops arrive immediately.

According to the leaks from the gameplay footage, in Grand Theft Auto 6, the cops would only come when there has been a call placed by the NPC; there will even be an evident countdown timer beginning after the report has been filed.

The leaked gameplay footage portraying the two protagonists as Lucia and Jason performing a robbery on a restaurant named Hanks Waffles has revealed that there is a new kind of co-operative approach. While one of the characters performs the robbery, the other ensures crowd management, with the players having the ability to provide instructions to their teammate in the middle of the robbery.

Jason is also observed utilising his alleged environmental scanning abilities, which enable him to make threat assessments and pinpoint entry points prior to taking any action.

The NPCs in GTA 6 are said to act on their own without resorting to the typical panic response animation; employees behind desks could grab their cellphones and even firearms if they’re left unattended, and players can expect ways to subdue any resistance.

These features regarding pawnshops, underground sellers, or resale prices for looted items have not yet been confirmed by Rockstar.
