Netflix makes surprise announcement: Renews 'The Four Seasons' for season 3

The Four Seasons, a comedy series on Netflix and an adaptation of the film of the same name in 1981, is far from over.

The streamer has green-lighted Tina Fey's hit show for a third season, which will feature eight episodes.

Jinny Howe, Netflix's head of scripted series, made the surprise announcement at the Banff World Media Festival.

The series creators Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield were over the moon on the streamer's decision.

In a statement, the filmmakers said, "We are thrilled to be able to bring a third season of ‘The Four Seasons’ to life. Thank you to everyone who watched. Middle-aged people, LFG!”

The series' star-studded cast includes Tina Fey, Will Forte, Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani, and Erika Henningsen.

Executive producers include Jeff Richmond, Eric Gurian, and David Miner, with Alda and Marissa Bregman producing

Debuting in 2025, The Four Seasons became an instant hit, following "the decades-long friendship and marriages of three couples are put to the test when one couple unexpectedly divorces."
