Shocking turn in deadly Florida dog attack after three dogs found dead
The bizarre twist is not only that the three dogs were dead but also notably where they had been found
A new twist shocked a neighbourhood in Florida when Jodi Cowan, 50, was allegedly mauled to death by two next-door dogs on May 19.
The canine's owner, Linda Cutler, 29, was arrested by the authorities and charged with manslaughter.
However, the case did not stop there.
Now, a fresh criminal investigation was sparked after three dogs were found dead.
Shockingly, they were found at Cowan's – the victim's – trailer.
Residents reported a foul odour from the area. Officials responded to the call and found the mysterious deaths.
A necropsy is set to take place to determine the cause of the three deaths.
'Aggressive dogs'
Max and Mako reportedly have a history of attacking neighbours. Just five weeks before the deadly incident in Cowan, the canines had attacked another resident.
The victim was saved by a passing driver who pulled him to safety.
However, he still suffered bite wounds reportedly to his arms.
As a result, the sheriff's office told Fox News Digital that the dogs will be euthanized.
